Film NINA
EN: Nina is 12 years old, her parents are divorcing and the world she has known so far is falling apart before her eyes. Dad and mom say they only want the best for her, but it's as if they're only thinking about themselves. Nina does not understand them, she feels abandoned and deceived - there is almost nothing left to believe in. The only certainty in her world is swimming - it gives her a sense of peace and support and replaces everything she lacks at home. When her participation in the swimming race is threatened, she decides to take a radical step.
SK: Nina má 12 rokov, jej rodičia sa rozvádzajú a svet, ktorý doteraz poznala, sa jej rozpadá pred očami. Otec a mama tvrdia, že chcú pre ňu len to najlepšie, ale akoby mysleli len na seba. Nina im nerozumie, cíti sa opustená a oklamaná – nie je už takmer nič, čomu by mohla veriť. Jedinou istotou v jej svete je plávanie – dáva jej pocit pokoja a opory a nahrádza všetko, čo jej doma chýba. Keď je ohrozená jej účasť na plaveckých pretekoch, rozhodne sa pre radikálny ťah.
Film Plastic Symphony
EN: The story of two completely different brothers who lead the life of street musicians. They are united by a double bass and a difficult fate, where they support each other. But each of them longs for a different happiness. One of them slowly learns that happiness is a state of mind, hidden in small things, and life is not only about us, but also about those we live for. The film Plastic Symphony had its world premiere in the main competition section of the "A" category international film festival in Tallinn.
SK: Príbeh dvoch úplne odlišných bratov, ktorí vedú život pouličných hudobníkov. Spája ich kontrabas a neľahký osud, kde sú si jeden druhému oporou. Každý z nich ale túži po inom šťastí. Jeden z nich pomaly spoznáva, že šťastie je stav mysle, skryté v malých veciach a život nie je len o nás, ale aj o tých, pre ktorých žijeme. Film Plastic Symphony mal svoju svetovú premiéru v hlavnej súťažnej sekcii medzinárodného filmového festivalu kategórie „A“ v Talline.

EN: To find one´s place in this world is not an easy thing to do for people with good sight, but how much more difficult it can get for somebody who is blind? The „view“ of blind persons is often pure and essential, and very often witty. It uncovers “unseen dimensions” of meaning of happiness.
